[CU2] - Headlight and question for CU2 owners

    Hi all,

Might be a stupid question, but I will ask away.

When I exit the car with the headlights on, I get a warning on the dash saying that the headlights are on. Just wondering, does anybody know what happens if I leave the lights on lock the car and walk away. Will they turn off automatically, I have tried...but they seemed to stay on?

For e.g. in my old car (e39 BMW), if I stopped the car left the right indicator on and got out and locked the car without turning the headlights off, the headlight on the drivers side would stay on for a little while.

Simple thing I know, but it saves me fiddling for a torch/phone when I park my car in our pitch black driveway. Was wondering if anyone knew what happens or if this feature exists?

They only turn off automatically if the lights are in Auto. My lights are in auto all the time and when I parked the car and lock it, the light turn of automatically.

If you have Luxuary Cu2 the headlights are auto on and will turn it off. If you have standard Cu2 prefacelift model the lights are not auto and you have to turn if off. Thats why it beeps you when you remove the key.
