    B18C2 --> header/exhaust

    Hi,

    wanting more power and torque for the b18c2.

    Should i get 4-2-1 extractors or 4-1

    I want it to have abit more power for street use so 4-2-1 is better? More mid range torque? 4-1 has top end?

    Now, the exhaust is 2.5inch cat back. It is loud. Not as tinny as other 2.25in tegs out there. But i want a size that will increase power. What size should i get?

    Also, i have a pod with heat shield. Should i fit a intake pipe. Benefits? All it just makes more vtec noise?

    cheers guys.

    hi there SIZ

    do a search on the forum for this topic - its been covered heaps!

    But here's my opinion anyway:

    1) Bigger isnt better for N/A cars. On the TEG stay with 2.25" to 2.5" else you will find a loss in power - not a gain!

    2) 4-2-1 is better for low to mid range torque - go with that unless you will be spinning your Teg to 8000rpm on every change to get those ponies working!

    3) If you want a relatively "meaty" exhaust note - but still legally quiet - then i would suggest the TWIN LOOP XFORCE S10 or S12.

    Hope this helps
