    Wider throttle body too anything that will slow more air to come in to the engine even a tune would help

    drain oil, fill with sand and run for 5 minutes, will port out the head and vtec solinoid giving you a nice loud noise.

    Lowering the VTEC crossover purely for noise value is a stupid idea. It's where it is for a reason. Unless you've modded the engine enough to require the crossover shifted (raised compression, head work, etc), you're just going to make your car slower.

    Lower vtec engagement without other ECU map changes = loss of power.

    If you do 4000-6000rpm with an SRI and full throttle, it sounds like VTEC anyway. It's because the low cam lobe is more aggressive than even the DC5R. Our high cam lobe is piss weak, but that is because the engine doesn't rev much higher after that anyway.
