Oil Leak help plzzz

Greetings all. My s2000 is leaking oil from the vtec solanoid thingy. Anywho Honda said they dont sell the seal seprately that i need to buy a whole new control unit ($300 something). that doesnt seem right.... any ideas?

i thought of that but then wouldnt i be replacing it with just another old seal?

get some gasket goo from autobarn for $14

remove the old gasket, give it all a good clean and seal it up.

You can buy the gasket/screen separate. Its common to leak ....

Yeah, the dealer is full of BS (as usual). Just order from CFL (http://www.cflhonda.com/). Might speak to them directly to ask about saving on shipping (it'll fit in an envelope) or maybe add some other parts to it to make it worthwhile. They are very reasonable and easy to talk to.
