    Injen CAI pod filter replacement

    Hi guys

Just wondering when I should be looking to clean or change my pod filter on my euro. It's done almost 10k. It also sits as a long ram near the front bar of the car where the stock intake was originally.

    Cheers

Really? I heard you can also clean it separately with oil and water flush?

    Could someone verify please?

no point cleaning the oiled ones, theyre too expensive $100+ and then u gota maintain them.

best just to buy a 3A racing pod (rated to have the most airflow by autosalon mag) for $30ish and replacing it every now and then
    snapping 2nd..

I agree, cleaning/drying/re-oiling is just too much trouble, I did it with my filter panel and it's just too much trouble.

And if you don't have a back up filter, your car is off the road for the entire duration obthe filter drying (while takes FOREVER)

change it weneva u feel the need, if it looks dirty ect change it. depends on where u drive, eg dirt roads u will change it more frequently then 100% tarmac driving coz it wont get clogged with dirt n shit.

just change it every 10-15k n keep her breathing
