    ek4 question regaurding vtec.

Hey guys, I'm currently looking at an ek4 that has been one lady owner from new. Logbooks state that the cars been service every 7- 10 kms. She say that she has never rev the car pass 6rpm. Now I'm going to look at it tomrw and I'm just curious if Vtec would still kick in.

Main concern is if lets say, if she's never hit Vtec in the car. Would it still kick in or like its not gna operating normally due to never being used. Might sound stupid but I'm a newbie and was just curious to see the answer.
