    Smile K-Swap Issues

Hey guys i am contemplating buying a k24a1 out of a 04 Crv to put into my crx. I was just wondering should is the crv wireing loom usable or do i need to get a custom loom done. Any help would be great as i have never attempted a kswap before and only had experience with b and d series engines.

    thanks

it will require extensive wiring mods but the crv loom could be used with modification

Most of the swap harnesses, along with all the OEM ECUs suitable, are designed to work with the 02-05 DC5 harness, so it might just be easier to pick up one of those. If you want a K24 and don't want to open it (pistons, rods etc.) get an A3 from a CL9 Euro, they are a much better motor stock than the one in the CR-V.

If you want hassle free, get a dc5r wiring loom
