Do i need an EPA test.

Ok i really didnt want to make a thread about this because i know the duds will just post useless comments, but i really do need help from the people that are on here to help out.

So i got a Major Defect last week yes i know this is my fault bla bla bla and bla bla bla but w.e. Iv changed everything on the list but one last thing which is the exhaust. Im gonna be changing it back to OEM from the cat - muffler, but im not sure if i will be needing a EPA Test after i am done or not. This is all i got on the paper.

could someone on here that KNOWS 100% on what they are talking about please help me out here.

    Thanks.

Not 100% but 90% sure you will only need a roadworthy as the epa would not have been notified and the roadworthy would encompass it as its not roadworthy with a high decibell reading

When ever you do Road worthy, if the exhaust system is noisy, mechanic will ask you to change it to stock exhaust.

The EPA should come separately in the mail if you were reported.

yeah, im currently studying the rta rules and regulations during my mechanics course and on your defect notice states that your exhaust should comply with standards, meaning not over 90 decibels running at around 2000-3000 rpms, and probably meeting the emission standards of your exhaust. it says you need a roadworthy certificate so no you shouldnt need an epa test. epa mostly concerned about noise pollution and if you DONT have a cat or is blowing black thick smoke out your exhaust. lol hope this helps, goodluck
