    Lightbulb **projector retro-fitting**

    hi mates

as u might know that the AUDM sols are the only one using separated hi and lo beams
low in the normal housing and the high in the little circles
which the little circles are for the fog lights in JDM and USDM and they hv both hi and lo in the normal housing...

to express it more clearly i should say this
lo beam - in normal housing - using ONLY low beam filament of the H4 bulb
hi beam - in "fog light" housing - using ONLY high beam filament of the H4 bulb

i m just wondering if i can jump the wire to the normal housing to make it like...
highs on with lows off in the normal housing, while keeping the high signal in the fogs

i m looking to do this becoz i m very interested in doing a facelifted front conversion
which has the foglight holes deleted and making the front end more streamlined

heard someone has done this b4 and a relay diagram is needed but the link is broken
just wondering if anyone knows how to make a relay that will do the job

    if the above is unclear...
    if flicked to hi-beam:
keep the hi-beam signal on in the fog housing,
jumping the hi-beam signal to the normal housing while cutting off the low-beam signal in the normal housing
    when in low-beam:
    everything normal

    any commands appreciated
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    after some serious consideration
realized it's not worth it to mess with the relay and wiring shits...
and kind of inspired by wt this website done to the del sol
i will do it, and do it in a better way
    one aim: OEMness and OMGness
for u who dont know me
i m a guy that will spend wt the best i can afford for lighting
    bit of researching and sourcing
i decided to do a bi-xenon retro fit
atm i m still waiting for the clear housing to come
but from the pictures u shud be able to get the idea
i ll make a DIY write up when everything's done and 100% working
this will be applicable to cars with H4 or H7 housing with a bit of DIY
subscribe if u r interested, will start the DIY soon lol

to be fair both 45W and 55W bulb were using the same model of 55W ballast

    lovely cut-off line

    Hi mate,

I'm in the process of doing the same! Except I've ordered some new projectors because the stock ones are all faded. Once they come I"ll be connecting everything up. I've shaved the bumper including the number plate mounting points. I'll post up pics once its all done and I'll let you know about the wiring.

Not sure if you can wait that long though! But I'll keep you posted.

How will you be wiring it to trigger both high beams (as in, the fogs and the normal high beams at the same time)?

Hopefully this may be of help

I had junk crx projection halo headlights laying around and had a set of brand new one piece del sol headlights. Take the crx ones apart with a heat gun and a screw driver, take the projector and halos out of the crx headlights (a few screws) then open up the del sol lights the same way with a heat gun. You have to modify the projector brackets to make them fit (they bend) then use emblem glue to the halos to the projector brackets. Run the wires out and conect to power to check. Put everything back together and seal it all up. This is how I did mine, me simply telling you how I did my own modification I am in no way liable if you break/and or destroy your headlights or your car.
    Hope this helps
