    DC4 valve cover differences?

Im looking at buying another dc4 integra. I dont really know why, but its at a good price. Now the question i have is that ive noticed the valve cover is different to the one on the 97 gsi i already have.

the one im unsure of has bumps on it rather than just the smooth flat cover on the 97 model i have.

Are they interchangeable? or is it likely that this car has an older motor fitted? Its advertised as a 95 but it could be a december 94 build date.

    Any ideas?

Ok thats a B18a engine cover from the previous model Integra DA

The DC4 is a B18b and you can check on the one youre looking at here

I doubt they used the older engine but you should make sure

The early b18b engines also have that cover, same as the b18a.

if the one you have is smooth with metal plate like the second picture it is not a dc4, its a dc2 (same thing as dc4 with vtec)
bumpy white picture is b18b1, what you will find in gsi integras aka dc4
