    Which water pump for B18c

    Ok i have a JDM B18C from a DC2 head is stamped 93'
I want to replace the water pump with oem and thought i needed part no
    OEM # 19200-P72-013
But have since found a listing on ebay saying
    OEM # 19200-P72-003 for a 94-95 GSR (B18C1)
So my question is what would be the difference between the two and which one do i need?
GSR is the US release i know.
My head is stamped 93' but didnt the jdm b18c come from the 95-98 JDM Honda Integra SiR/SiR II (DB8, DC2)
So if this is true and my JDM B18C is from a 95-98 then i should need the
    OEM # 19200-P72-013 yes?

    Thoughts?

The part number 19200-P72-013 superceeds 19200-P72-003. The difference is because honda either revised the design or chose a different manufacture to make than original.
If you get the 19200-P72-003 it will still be the same part and function the same. Most non-genuine parts will use the old part numbers.

I had to replace my water pump about 5 years ago. Got a pump for a 93 vtir but the dowels were slightly different than the ones on my jdm motor. I ended up takin the old one in to a dealership and compared it to some that they had in stock. They did have one exactly the same but unfortunately I didn't get the part number.

Cheers guys interesting, i actually read your thread when i did a search Mooshie which made me even more cautious about ordering my pump.. though i would only buy oem for such a part anyway i just wanted to know what the difference was between the two oem pumps that are listed under different part numbers,
They are listed on Ebay US as-
Oem pump with part number #19200-P72-003 was listed to fit 94-95 Integra GSR B18 B18C1
Oem pump with part number #19200-P72-013 was listed to fit 96-01 GSR (B18C1) and Type R (B18C5)

The seller of the said two pumps has emailed me back saying the only difference between the two are
"The 94-95 Integra water pump has the dowel pins in the back, that is the only difference from the 96-01 pump"
Mooshie maybe this is the problem you had with the dowel pins, you might of had a pump for the 96-01?

19200-P72-013 superceeds 19200-P72-003. If you buying genuine you can't get 19200-P72-003 anymore. Both will work on any B18C. I know ive dont it.

I think that was the issue that I found. The first pump I got didn't have any pins if i remember correctly.

The other pump would fit on but I was concerned that without those dowels there is more of a chance of it moving which is not something you want when there is a timing belt involved.

Sorry can't be of more assistance, I would normally write things like this down just in case.

Just to add some info to my thread,

I want to confirm what Riceboy said is definately accurate, I bought pump 19200-P72-003 and it is the same pump as
19200-P72-013 only difference between the two is #19200-P72-003 has the two dowel pins in it which makes no difference in its function and fit. So if your buying a water pump for B18C i can confirm either part number fits and works without issue.
Hope this can help members in the future.
