    I'm in Brisbane. And I've heard that some mechanics will quote like 350-400 not knowing the work involved and then **** you over once they realise it takes longer than they thought
    Wanted to Buy: Any aftermarket parts for DC5 Integra. PM me.

    a good mechanic can do the job between 4-6 hours..

    labour costs for mechanic is between 60-100 per hour

    at worst you should be paying $600 + fluids

    anything above that is way too much.

    changing a clutch is pretty standard, its just a long process - as long as you got the right part and they got a clue then it shouldnt be an issue

    I agree it's a pretty expensive mod for a street car. Would make a he'll of a difference with the Orc clutch and light fly though

    Because in the long run as my most DC5 owners generally do if they actually get into the track scene aswell as keeping the car registered, some do take this step aswell SO if it's your plans down the track, you may aswell do it now and be done with it.

    Will be doing mine once my clutch goes as it is in my eventual plans but not everyone has these plans which is fair to say

    most people don't want a car revving on 20,000rpm @ 80km/h while driving to work

    Understand
    Difference is crx = 6k car
    Dc5r = 16k car

    More expensive car means more expensive work. Who told you to buy an expensive car? Serves you right.
    Just like full respraying a Lamborghini compared to an eg. Same paint same work 50 times the price.
