    [NSW] Engine Swap Question.

If you got D series than get B series engine swap and your rego is about to expire and to renew do you need get blue slip or pink? (can you get 6 months rego?)

You need to go to a mechanic to get an adjustment of registration to rego the new engine number to the car. If you are increasing by more than 15% displacement (i.e. 1.5-->1.8 = 20%) you will need to have your car engineered and an adjustment of records made.

If you're not exceeding 15%, adjustment of records (like a blueslip but they check for engine numbers only) is all that is required, + pinkslip etc

to get 6 months rego you need to renew it 28 days after your rego expires, after 28 days you need to purchase one year,

pretty sure u can get away with labelling any eg to a 1.6 so u dont need to get it engineered if u go, up to 1.8
