    Fuel Consumption

According to Honda brochure, Jazz VTI AUTO should have 6.7 combined; 8.8 urban; 5.5 extra urban.
My average urban is 4.8 ,and I even had 4.2 (I took a picture in case nobody will believe me ). Didn't took it on freeway yet. Perhaps is so low because I'm not going above 2500rpm's
    What is yours? ...

it will take a while for it to be accurate usually have to do atleast 100kms before you can believe what the trip says, ontop of that it lies aswell.

but GD3 on 98RON driving it pretty hard accelerating every chance i get im hitting 6.9-7.0
but on regular i would get 7.2 for the same driving style but the 98RON is definately more sporty.

but as i said i have a gd3 so thats irrelevant

took it a bit hard now (not above 3000rpm though) and getting closer to 6.0 urban (usually 5.7).
@GU357.. never thought before to use 98ROM, I'll definitely try it.

@fillit. sorry , I did search and couldn't find another thread, or haven't saw it.
    I'll pay more attention

im always running at around 2800 because thats what S mode puts it in, then when u accelerate its goes up into the 3000's which is where Vtec is i believe.
but thats just when i zoom through the residential streets on the open ie long distance 70 zones and the freeway i keep it in D cos theres no point being ready to accelerate when your not stopping and starting or going around corners.

but if im using 7 speed and going in residential i would be sitting abit higher then 3000rpm because the engine response coming out of corners is quite fun.

the best i can get is 6.0 (average), and i try to shift before 2.5k. gunning it every now and then brings it up to around 9.0...

vtec kicks in at 2200-3500, depending on the throttle position. i made my cluster light up blue when vtec kicked in, but it was quite annoying cos it came on when i drove normally. i ended up taking it out.

driving in S is more fun than D :P

Depends how you drive it, what petrol you fill in, where do you drive it. It is comprehensive.

Driven my jazz for about 400kms and i'm getting 7.5L. Tank empties quicker than i thought it would but then again its a tiny tank. Running 95 now, might try out 98 next refuel. All in all 7.5L is not as low as i thought it would go but compared to 14.5l/100km on my Triton this is awesome!
