I'm pretty sure you will find that 195/45 is not available from most tyre manufactures. stick with 195/50 as ride comfort won't be affected vs steering response feeling good =]

195/45R15 is a hard size to get, but u can get it, but as said, depends on who makes it.

Imo, stick to 195/45R16, as that profile just suits it well, a 50 profile looks to fat, almost like oem.

    50 for ride
    45 for looks

if your chasing the correct tyre size for the speedo then here are some simple tips

    195/50/15 60mph = 100km
    195/45/15 62.1mph = 103km 3.509% too fast
    205/45/15 60mph = 100km

    hope this helps you

what would be the correct tyre's size for 16s on EK1 ? i'd like the rolling diameter as close as to the standard tyre size.

    thanks guys

205/45R16 will be equal to oem size

though its wider, the rolling diameter should be fairly close, cause ive put my standard against my aftermarket rim/tires, pretty even
