AUX for my 02 Honda CRV

So I'm sick of having so little songs on my discs at any one time. I decided to go with trying to connect my iPhone to the car.

I noticed my CD Player has an AUX button. Looked around for the 3.5mm input and couldn't find it. Searches reveal that the button is for an AUX/CD changer device.

So I purchased one of those AUX adapters for the back of my CD Player. It finally arrived and, well, I'm disappointed and feel like crap that I didn't check what the input looked like.

    I purchased this.

Item listing said that it would work perfectly with CRVs from 1999 to 2004. Even Amazon suggests so.

The item came today, so I checked tutorials on how to open the center console. I got it opened, and was puzzled to see a different input. Turns out I need this adapter.

What should I do now? Is there another port on the CD Player that I missed? I didn't take off the bottom tray under it, so would there be a port there? Is there such Female-to-Female adapters with those two moulds?

Worked with my mates 2005 CRV.

What ever you got doesnt seem to have a charger for the Iphone so would not be good for long trips

I just bought an 06 crv and noticed the aux button.

Was hoping i could take the radio out and plug in a 3.5mm cable.

Hopefully someone knows how to do it ive had no luck with google so far

If you don't have an AUX input on the radio or center console (if there is one), you're going to have to take out your stereo and take a look what kind of input it requires. If you have the 6 CD stacker, you're going to have to lose it.

I sent mine back to the seller. Unfortunately this means waiting another 2 weeks for him to receive it, then another 2 for him to send another one. A month wait for AUX input for my iPod. I guess I'll have to stick with CDs for a while longer.

Way too expensive though. Ebay has both types in the OP for roughly 50 bucks.
