This is way too broad, so I shall throw this at you lol: http://www.ehow.com/how_2071189_maintain-car.html

Maybe should just keep it immaculate by cleaning, washing, waxing and polishing?
Oh, and don't launch your car so often, you don't want that diff of yours dying

If you plan to go to the track, in my opinion, all you need are coilovers and some good tyres/rim combo to start off with!

    Welcome to the forum!

You can take transparent plastic tubing and stick it over the hooks that latch the soft top closed. It will make the connection tighter and prevent that metal on metal noise that it sometimes makes.

I would search these forums and s2ki.com for tips on how to prevent the soft top from wearing, and products to use on it like aerospace 303.

Maybe get a leather restoring kit to touch up those common wear and tear areas of the seats.

Swap the old fashioned yellow cabin lights with white LED ones.

Put up pics of your purchase!!

Also check the oil levels regularly because these engines chow oil!! I lost 1 lite of oil after 2000 kms!
