    98 in 7-eleven

    Hi guys

I drive a DC5S and has always filled it with BP ultimate and shell v power
    Didn't notice 7-eleven also sell 98
and the price of the 7 eleven 98 is like 10 cents cheaper than ultimate and v power
    has anyone tried them?
are they crap? or just same fuel different badge?

7-eleven took over all the Mobil service stations Australia wide.

Weather they still use Mobil to supply the fuel is unknown to me.

Mobil was my preferred 98 when it was around.....

Besides the price difference, how's the mileage and others pan out compared to the other 98 fuels?

if you have filled up Mobil 98ron before ..then i would suspect that it would be the same on (normal conditions and use) if filling up at 711.

so in reality compare 711 (fomerly Mobil) vs Shell, Caltex, Bp 98rons ...then go from there.

711 claims they are using Mobile petrol ..whereas previously they were using Shell as their suppliers..

    Well
if there is no down side for using their 98
I might give it a try since it is like $5 saving per tank
+ my housemate works there...so I always get free coffee LOL

Exactly, however since it's really uncertain which fuel they're using exactly. I'd like to know, if any, a better comparison now, than from the past results of Mobil vs Shell + Rest

    how is it uncertain?

They clearly state they're moving towards the one supplier ie. Mobil.

I think you should fill up a few tanks, make a comparison and let us know.

Because I doubt anyone has tried yet.
