    does.dc5S ,k20z1 model.come.with.launch.control factory?

    Hey guys.iv had.my teg.for.about a year now . i.biv got brought it wid most of its mode but tonight i.found out it.has launch.control set to.5.500 rpms. is this factory or do.i.have a.ecu.system.i.dont.kno about.

    Nah but seriously, dc5r, ep3r and dc5s, don't let u rev past 5000rpm wen stationary.
    It's a head fuk putting a hondata in a dc5s coz u need dc5r ecu to put kpro on
    snapping 2nd..

    Idk its just stationary nd i flat foot it and it just bounces at 5 .5k rpm . iv heard launch control.before nd it sounds similar but i checked my ecu nd its prb 012 which is stock im pretty sure so guessing its a stock thing

    lol, you are hitting the rev limiter, that is NOT launch control, it is a safety device to prevent you from over revving the motor when cold and blowing it. I suggest not doing that anymore for the sake of your motor.

    That's normal.

    It's a safety feature of the stock ECU.

    If you get an aftermarket computer (Such as K-Pro), you can set this to any RPM you want. It's not a "true" launch control, as it's only fuel cut. It's not bad for your engine if you've done it once or twice, but just don't do it all the time.
