aftermarket or oem clutch for itr?

    Hey guys,
Currently my clutch on my itr is gone and i'm looking for an alternative (aftermarket) clutch instead of OEM since OEM is pricey.

I'm looking for an aftermarket clutch that is very similar to OEM meaning not heavy,
because I use my car as a daily to get around in the CBD traffic

Can you guys recommend me on what sort of aftermarket clutch that I should buy that's similar to OEM?

    thanks

I've got exedy sports organic after my oem was gone. Its abit heavier at first but you get used to it and soon it feels just like oem lol. Got mine here in aus for ~$400 but read a few members got theirs from overseas which is cheaper

If you are looking to seriously tune your engine (I/H/E, tune/cams etc)... then get a HD clutch, if you are gonna keep it fairly stock, stick with a well-priced, quality OEM replacement.

They should alst 120 000 km + but it depends on how they are driven. My old DC2R has 140 000km on it and still felt it has plenty of meat left

you can get either an exedy OEM or Sports Organic Clutch

exedy OEM is just that - an OEM replacement which feels identical

SO is slightly heavier but still very driveable everyday through traffic
the benefit it is my durable and able to take more abuse should you go down and mod your car
partnered up with an exedy lightened flywheel you will be doing well

    here's the part numbers:
    PART # 08800B (CLUTCH KIT)
    PART # HF01 (FLYWHEEL)

I'd look to ebay to buy these - can find them for under $500 plus shipping which is alot cheaper than locally
