These pics might help. its right behind the right boot trim. You will have to remove the trim to gain access:

Does anyone know what colour the Remote and Ground wire is in the Euro CU2 factory amp located in the boot? I want to tap into these wires to connect an amp. The factory amp has 2 connectors, one seems to be the input going into the amp (the one with less wires) and the other seems be the output going out to the speakers. Would I damage the audio system by tapping into the factory amp wiring. I have already looked at a wiring diagram from another post but had no luck finding these answers

Where else I can find a remote wire to tap into?

For the moment, I want to connect an Alpine amp to run a 10" Alpine Sub and leave the factory amp to run the rest of the speakers. I have replaced the factory sub with the Alpine 10” sub in its place and will be using the subwoofer wires coming off the factory amp for the bass signal. I'm hoping that the Alpine amp will clean out the bass with the help of the LP/HP filter. I’m a newbie and want to keep things really simple at moment and see how it turns out.
