Forged pistons - Oil squirters removed?

    Hi guys,

I was reading that when forged pistons are used that the oil squirters under them are removed.
Can someone confirm this, and if it is true can someone explain why this is the case?
I assume maybe it is desirable for forged pistons to operate at a higher temperature for clearances?

apparently forged pistons just dont need it, so many people prefer to block or remove them to get higher pressure and have the oil flow to a more necessary area of the engine.
also, I heard most k24 engines dont have them from the factory. I'm not 100% on it though
