so i got 97 integra GSi,

Stock Wheels = 14 x 5.5J
Stock tires = 195/60R14 86H

going to get

Wheels = 16 x 7.0J
Tires = 205/45ZR16 87W

all seems like an upgrade now i got a few questions and problems

#1 with wider tires, will it put on strain on my power steering?
#2 will it decrease the steering responsiveness with wider tires?
#3 with lower profile tires, will it be less confortable ride on bumpy roads?

also i got a major problem is
as u can see the new wheels is A LOT wider than the stock, 7.0J vs 5.5J
it also means that with stock tires on stock wheels, the tires are 5.53cm(2.765cm out) wider than the rims width
but with new setup, tires only 2.72cm wider (1.36cm out)

I am not sure if my calculation is correct, and im also not sure how the tire size and rim size work, so how will it affect my driving? will it mean that if i accidently hit the kerb my rims will come in contact with the concret as there are only 1.36cm of rubber to take the impact?

i also have question is that will the same tyre fit on different kind of rim? say if the tire is designed for 7.0J rims will it fit on 7.5J or 6.5J ? ?
