    RPF1s 17x9 fitment

    Hi guys,

Can anyone help me out by confirming if 17x9 +45 RPF1s will fit on the AUDM DC5R?

Theres a guy in NZ with a JDM DC5R who has fitted +45 and +35, but he has the brembos fitted - does this make any difference between JDM and AUDM?

The rears will need a spacer I believe?

    Thanks in advance

The hub, knuckle and lower control arms on the JDM DC5 are different to the Australian model and give a roughly 30mm wider track at both the front and the rear. 15mm per side. So you need an offset roughly 15mm lower when compared to the Japanese model.

The short answer is no 17x9 +45 RPF1s will not fit an Australian DC5. It will hit the rear trailing arm and possibly the strut at the front, depending on your suspension/coilovers. You would need a 15mm spacer to be sure of fitment, although you may get away with a 10mm at the rear and possibly a 5mm spacer at the front. Some people fit 17x9 +35-38 at the rear of an Australian DC5 without issues, some people have trailing arm contact, it is very ride height and alignment sensitive.
