    Identifying DC2R shift linkages

Can anyone tell me if this shift linkage is from a DC2R?

    Shift Rod approx. 28mm
    Extension Rod approx. 22mm

Bonus point if you can tell me who makes this anodized blue short shifter.

I thought DC2R Shift Linkages were a gold/bronze colour, unless that's been painted of course.

From what I've seen online, all the gold/bronze ones were JDM linkages.

Can anyone with a DC2R confirm they have black linkages?

My dc2r shift linkage is black. No, it's never been painted. Maybe the JDM ones are different?

I seriously doubt there is a difference.

The dc2 vtir we have has a rebuilt dc2r GB in it, feels better than my dc2r GB (being newly rebuilt), feels so tight, can hardly wiggle it side to side.

IMO they're all the same and what makes a difference is the GB itself and the bushings you use.

    good luck.

Yeh did you get that off a JDM model? I'm assuming you replaced the VTI-R linkages, did you notice any differences when comparing the two?

I've read reports that non Type-Rs have counter-weights on the end of the linkage to reduce noise and vibration.

How can you tell dude? Is it because it doesn't have the counter-weights?
