Everyone has to start somewhere. They just got a partnership with hrc as far as I am aware, I got a recipt from them when my conversion was done, they also provided me with a discounted dyno tune as part of the package.

Im still waiting for my receipt and my conversion was completed last wednesday ! .. should hopefully get it soon as i need to register the engine to the car .. technically driving illegally .

as far as warranty is concerned , no i dont recall receiving warranty on any parts . I paid pretty much everything they asked for and this also contributed to why im so eager on making sure everything is legitimate .

the issue is you need proof of ownership of the engine - this is then taken (with your car) to your local engineer and he will then check it over , make sure it falls within the <15% displacement AND same emissions rules or later as chassis- then do a "adjustment of records" and simply line up the new engine number with the RTA. Easy.

Why don't you speak to them before you start posting concerns, take it to hrc performance in wetheril park.

No problems with my conversion apart from delay of my ecu and tune.

They have worked on my and brothers car no issues at all. 2x Clutch done by them, coilovers purchased brand new with warranty and radiator purchased from them no problems. I drove my car for 3 years before I was bothered updating the engine number with rms
    (Rta).

Look at the op they are sponsoring.

If your concerned post a picture of your engine number and gearbox tag along with a whole engine bay pic so members of the forum can verify.

    Joey,

Im a little sadden and offended that you would think i've would of sold you a 'dodgy' B18cR engine package. Our business stand highly with customer service and customer relationship. If there is anything wrong with the swap or engine package, please give me a call. If you have spoken to people who have actually dealt with BYP (there is a few in this thread and have said so) you will be happy to know that you could trust in our word and workmanship. This is one of the reason why i've created a vouch thread under the trader section - http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...h-Thread/page2
Im always hearing that we are dodgy and dont know what we are doing. These are the people who haven't dealt with us directly, people who have heard rumours, and people who are outright jealous! I havent built a name and reputation base on luck. I've been in the industry for many years and i can gladly say im more experience and knowledgable than other 'experience' Honda specialist.

You can only look back of our achievements, our knowledge, our results, our vouches, our company to know that we ARENT in the industry to rip people off or be dodgy. A smart person will see that we have grown from year to year. Become stronger from year to year. More knowledgable with Honda's from year to year.

People are right. Everyone starts from somewhere. 90% of 'good' mechanics work from their backyard starting out. Its hard when your so young to acutally afford a workshop. We are really fortunate that we have a good team supporting us and had a great opportunity put forward with HRC Automotive who has been in the business for the last 17years.

Like the few intellect people have pointed out. Your engine code on the block will read B18C7 (This number indicates its a AUS spec Integra Type R block). Above the header, there is a stamp on the head to indicate the year model and type R head. Your intake manifold will also be Type R (google type R manifold and compare). For the gearbox, there is a stamp (slightly faded) with the writing S80 LSD. This would indicate an Type R gearbox (4.7 FD) with LSD. Now if your really paraniod its not a type R gearbox, you can pay someone to pull off the driveshafts and check if you can see the other side (This will show you if it has LSD or not). The FD would be tricky, it will require a gearbox removal and for it to be opened up. For the ECU, its clearly a Hondata s200 with the blue box (tuned previously to the engine + mods). Its pretty obvious. As for driveshafts, only B-series driveshafts will fit b-series gearbox

With regards to your receipt. I havent forgotten. Its hard when you cant control getting the receipt from the previous owner when he is so busy to fit in the schedule. If it was my engine, i would have no hesitation to give you the receipt already! Please PM your email so i can get the details across to you

imo this is poor form on behalf of the OP - if u have concerns contact the company - dont go posting it all over a public forum

especially when the company is well renowned for quality work - just makes u look stupid

u should have done the research and checked everything out BEFORE you put down your money

i dont know where people get off on saying BYP is dodgey - im waaay over in WA and their rep is good over here too lol
