    Revs Jumping Around (vid included)

    What can cause this to happen ? car feels very slow and pings sometimes.

    The tachometer takes its signal off a sensor in the distributor - check
    The wiring from the dash to the engine bay wiring loom , and then also check the dizzy clip itself . Make sure no pulls or shorts etc. might also be the sensor itself is dying/dead leaving you with the need for a new dizzy
    .

    Change the ICM in the dizzy, this will fix the problem

    but what about power loss? How it pings, sounds line it mis fires on high revs

    Yeh above it's an ignition problem with the dizzy, that's why it misfires and tacho is out.

    So new dizzy? could it also me timing?

    problem is only in high revs also

    Could be timing, but in my case it wasn't.
    No harm in trying to set the timing if u have a timing light or a friend that could do it.

    Change the ICM inside the dizzy or change your whole dizzy as you wish

    this should fix your problem, advise us what happens after you changed it

    I have the same problem on my EG, haven't got around to changing the ICM yet

    Mechanic Rkn it's my spark plug leads.. Cause everytime he pushed the 3rd lead he gets sparked. Waiting for repco to get leads in...
