8th Gen Acorrd Euro Auto - torque up hills

    Hi,

What's the pulling power like up hills of Euro auto? For example can it be set on cruise on a country road and keep its speed up hills with ease.

Note - I originally posted this in Accord area (wrong area).

Depends on how step the hill is. If its an auto then no worries as it downshifts automatically. I've had no problems driving my manual on country roads but in the country steep hills normally mean windy roads which means vsa, cruise off and downshift

The auto is fine as it will downshift on its own if required.

I have had no trouble with my auto climbing hills, as a matter of fact there is nothing better than a long steep hill at 110 - 120 kph when it kicks back to 3rd & climbs that hill in 3rd gear around 4000 to 4500 RPM, a real sweet spot for maximum tourque.
