accord boot latch

if i open the boot using the cabin lever, the boot latch wont work when i close the boot lid.
if i use the remote key lock , everything works fine.
what could be the problem >\?

its the cable sticking. The key bypasses the lever and cable. When the lever is used, the cable sticks 'open' and the latch wont close.

look at the boot locking mechanism....there should be a switch lever on it,

i believe that one of the two lever switching locks the incabin cable access and only allows the remote fob key to work and vice versa if you turn the lever the other way.
