handbrake light in vtec? b18c2

Hey guy

Been having a problem for about 2 week now. The handbrake light lights up when i hit Vtec in first gear. It has also come on in second gear and once on low revs in fifth gear on wide open throttle.

Ecu is not throwing any codes and everything looks fine under the hood. And no my handbrake is not engaged.

Any ideas?

might be low on brake fluid.. Sometimes when your low on brake fluid it triggers the brake light when you turn, accelerate or brake hard.. have a check on your level..

Yeah i read that also however level is fine. I also checked the wires which are fine also.
