    DC5S Gearbox

    Hey Guys,

I own a DC5 type s. 12 months ago i had a Cusco 1.5way LSD fitted by my mechanic. Because i drive my car daily i've discovered the LSD is pretty harsh in first and second gear. When i preform a u-turn in first the front wheels continusouly churp until i straighten up. To stop this from happening i either have to take a corner faster or ride the clutch. (I've just started noticing this as my tires are loosing grip-not as much tread left)

Is this a common issue with this particular LSD?

I've looked into getting a different LSD better suited for daily driving and thought of the Honda DC5R LSD. OEM reliability etc.. Will the dc5r lsd fit a the AUDM DC5S. The type s transmission code is NSN4 while the JDM DC5r is Y2M3...

I've searched google and ozhonda and i couldn't find anything.

Any help would be great, Thanks
    JB

How many pre-load springs did you use?
    This could be the issue.

Oh & yes, type R to type S is no problem.

Have a look into the Wavetrac LSD. Its a torsen type LSD, making it more friendly for a daily driver. Acts like an OEM LSD
