DC4 or DC5... which would you buy?

Currently looking at buying a DC4 (GSI) or DC5 base model.

Must be auto (unfortunately) to share with my wife.

Would the DC5 offer a completely different driving experience to justify the difference in cost?

Or would you just pocket the change?

You should consider a 5th gen Prelude. I have driven the 2.2 VTEC and it was a really nice car, I was amazed at how "expensive" it felt and considering your wife will be driving it as well, it is a more pleasant drive (smoother, quieter, etc).

Never driven an auto but IMO the dc4 is a nice car. My brother owns one and compared to my EH9 it's got a very nice interior and drives beautifully. Quick enough.

Prelude is a great car though. Kind of a sport/luxury mix. Think it comes standard with a few nice things like cruise control etc. def worth a look.

Dc5 for newness but tbh I've never liked the shape lol. Dc4 can be picked up very cheap.

You can get one for about 6-8k and it's great for tramping stuff around. The cars you suggest are not lol

+1 for the Jazz. Alot more practical than an Integra or Prelude
