I wouldn't agree with the statement ... "Not as much kit as other competitors" ... and then at the bottom of the page they make this statement about the Mazda 3 ... "the Mazda3 amazes with the amount of optional kit available and tiers of equipment"
A bloke I work with has just bought a brand new Mazda 3 ... I checked it out the other day, everything about it has a very cheap and nasty feel to it ... it's nowhere near the quality of the new Civic, not even in the same league in my opinion.
No Xenon Headlamps, thats disappointing on a brand new car, mind you, havent checked if the Mazda or Toyota come with them either.. I am looking to buy the prvious generation Sport soon, but don't know if I would stretch to a second hand one of these in a few years, just can't see anything that really justifies it.

Charming, but it would gain far more respect if youprovided links to the RTA sites to prove your reply

While there are still abundant optional extras on the new civics, most of these can be found as standard on Korean cars... Thai vs Korea? Which one has better quality?
