    2012 Civic here in Australia

A bit of a sneak peak at what the 2012 Civic will look like when it arrives in March.

Interestingly, we don't get a different style of Civic to the USA version.

Pictures are on page 2 of the PDF.

Scored really well in the ANCAP test, which is great.

Sigh. 114kw sport version in 2L. To think my '90 b16a pushes out a peak 118kw. I guess I really hoped for more balls in this variant.

Looks alright. Prices are good. Time will tell.

mmm, looks great. gonna get one probs.

was planning to buy a new elantra elite (looks very similar, good features) but now that this is 2-3k cheaper than I expected will definately wait... only 1 month to go!

this has the great dyno blue colour - can see myself buying one.... Already had the latest hybrid civic, but now that's the wife's car...

The Front grill and rear lights look like a Honda City.........

    oh the Specs:

    VTi-L
    Engine 1.8L i-VTEC engine (R18...)
    104 kW @ 6500 rpm (up 1 kw, arrive 200rpm earlier)
174 Nm @ 4300 rpm (same, but arrive 100rpm later)

    SPORT... AUTO only....
    2.0L i-VTEC engine (K20...)
114 kW @ 6500 rpm (Same, but arrive 300rpm later)
    190 Nm @ 4300 rpm (up 2nm, but arrive 100rpm later)

    HYBRID
1.5L i-VTEC engine with Integrated Motor Assist (IMA)
    82 kW @ 5500 rpm
    172 Nm @ 1000-3500 rpm (Combined)

Looks like they didnt do anything to the engines except making the PS pump electric instead of hydrolic on the K20

Nice work Fredoops with the specs.

I'm looking forward to the 'Earth Dreams' motors when they come out. I hope they introduce them into the Civic, without making people wait for the next generation.

Honda can't make people wait for more advanced motors, especially when the competition is surging ahead...

    Time will tell I guess.
