    Obd2 obd1 general wiring help.

I have a d16y8 obd2 ej civic and have an obd1 h22 sitting around planning maybe to build an all motor monster. Can I throw the h22 in with h22 loom and just plug it into a chipped p28 (or stock ecu for time being) without running into other wiring problems. Or am I in for serious headaches. I tried to think logically, I figured problems will rise with obd2 motor to obd1 ecu. Thanks in advance.

Remove the old wiring loom from your d16y8 and adapt it to the H22a engine. You will need to change the injector plugs, dizzy plug and alternator plug

Make sure you get an obd2a > obd1 conversion harness for the ECU
