    CU2 Gaseous sound after shutdown.

    Hi all,

After driving the car with aircon ON for a reasonable distance (say > 20 Km) and then park into the garage and shutdown engine. I came out of the car and notice a gaseous sound emanating from the bottom of the engine bay. It happens every time.

I think I have this since day one and I don't remember hearing this if I drive with the aircon off. The sound goes off after 5 - 10 minutes.

Just want to check if any of your Euros is exhibiting it? What is the cause and is it normal?

    Thanks.

    I'm quite sure that's normal.
It can sometimes occur when your first turn on your a/c also, i think it's the remaining gas flowing through the pipe.

I believe you might be referring to the remaining air sucking sound from our airbox. When we cut the engine, there's still air coming in, hence the remaining sound.
