    replacing steering wheel/airbag module

hi guys im replacing my dc2r steering wheel and air bag module as the old wheel is worn out and im anal about my interior (no the airbag hasn't deployed and no i havent stacked the car)

just wondering if i would need to do any srs reset or something along that line.. or is it simply plug and play?

    cheers

    yep

    Disconnect your battery first.

Make sure your wheels are lined up straight - then remove the steering wheel accordingly.

make sure all plugs are correctly fitted - otherwise when you power up you may get the SRS/Airbag light lightening up.

if after install the SRS light is on and doesnt come off, then just google how to reset SRS light DIY..

otherwise go to someone who can do it for u with the resetting tool.

you dont need to replace the SRS module if your changing the wheel only

lolol sorry i was half awake typing that

i meant the airbag module/srs inflator whatever they are called

what im asking is whether or not the air bag module is somehow tied up to the srs system on my car, in which if i change it i will have to get honda to reregister it or something

    im guessing not
