    [DIM] Did-it-myself Groundwiring

    Hey fellow drivers
I had enough time todai to make myself a grounding kit for my car
I will post some pics up for u guys tomorow
Basically after reading it up on some websites, alot people did reaslise that after the new grounds the car felt smoother
This was the same result I got aswell...
Hard to describe its effect, but i can tell you that the car certainly feels alot smoother, even when driven cold!
Its not as jerky as it was before, and a great SUnday afternoon project (even though it was a Friday)

    Parts included:

    1. New battery terminal - $2.50
    2. Ground rings (dunno what its called) - 2.50 X 2 = 5.00
    3. Ground wires (8 ga - 6m @ $2 from friends audio shop) $12.00

It looks ghetto, but it was the best $19.50 I've spent

SOrry guys haven't got enough post to post attachments, but u can view it on clubrsx

    Hye guys
    couldn't post pics
My posting rules says im not allowed to post any pictures (not enuff post?)
ANyways, after a few days of having this 20 dollar mod added to my car
There were a few things which i have picked up on

Firstly, off the line, the car is alot more free-flowing and doesn't require as much throttle then before to get it to start rolling, as the rev pick-up alot easier than it did before

Another advantage I've realised is that when engine braking, the revs drop more gradually than it did before, making it less jerky even when i don't rev match

I don't think there is anypower gain, but then again i wasn't expecting any

    Audio improvement? Don't think so...

Is it just me u think? My girlfriend had realised that the car ran alot better the second day that I had the mod. At first, she didn't thought anything of it, however now, even though she's the passanger, she's realised the car goes alot more fluently

    Regards, Hong
