i offered him $18k, and he didnt bite.
the cars in great condition as i said, no gear crunching in first 3 gears at redline, and no weird noises coming from the CV shafts.
interior has been kept in good condition also, just the high kms are a put off.
Seller also doesnt seem to know much about s2000s.

Ffffuuuckkk! $$18k hahahha some good lowballing hey! It's a 2001 so kms are understandable in my opinion.
Did the usual problems with s2ks occur..tct? Diff whine?
From what you have told me it seems like a good car, worth having a look at
Wonder how long it's been on car sale for..

    general s2k issues
    soft top leaks
soft top (does it go up/ down properly)
    clutch issues
    vibrations when accelerating hard
whether car drives straight (no pulling to left/right)
any transmission issues during high rpm
Dc2r and em1 only good if you work at McDonald's, s2k good for order food in McDonald's
    deal with it m8

that car shouldn't be worth more than 18k, I sold my grey with black leather S2000, 2nd owner 70xxx with full honda service history from factory plus basically brand new works on it, brand new roof, interior was literally immaculate, body had just one resprayed frontbar (from driveway scrape with pics to prove) for 22500 with 10 months rego after like 6months of being on the market...

dont forget, this is a buyers market not a sellers market. every s2000 owner believes that their 10 year old + s2000 with >150,000km is worth more than $20k, but in reality, no money no honey= price drop eventually
