Wiring Civic EK sedan 99-00

Hi guys,

Every guide I've been looking through doesn't have have my harness connector

top - black | grey-black line | brown-black line | grey-white line | brown-white line

bot - white-blue line | red-black line | blue | red-green line | blue-yellow line | red-yellow line | yellow-red line | yellow-black line

anyone know the colour code for this one? I'm connecting to a sony head unit btw.

The below are Speaker Wires.

FRONT
LEFT = | grey-black line | Blue
RIGHT = brown-black line | Red-Green

REAR
LEFT= | grey-white line | blue-yellow line
RIGHT = brown-white line | red-yellow line

Below are Power wires.

|BLACK| = Ground
|white-blue line| = Constant +pos Battery
|red-black line| = Not used.
|yellow-red line| = ACC Ignition
|yellow-black line | = Not used.

one of the NOT USED wires are the dimmer, cant remember which is which.

Use a DC light tester to figure out the power wires and use a AA battery to figure out the speaker wires and its location before you solder the wires in permanently.

Otherwise you can buy a stereo conversion harness from your autoshops - no need to splice, solder etc.
