    [CL9] SRS Impact Sensor

My CL9 is giving a constant SRS error of 41-10 which is "No signal from LF impact sensor". Clearing the SRS memory didn't make a difference.

    1. Where is the sensor located exactly? I think I found it just under the battery ahead of the front left tire near the air resonator. (see images below)

    2. How do I get a T30 screwdriver into that narrow area? I can barely fit my fingers in there, and the large cylinder thing in front seems to be solid metal.

    3. Do you think replacing the sensor will fix error 41-10? It's worth a try I guess.

    4. When replacing the sensor do you need to disconnect the airbags and tensioners? Or just the negative battery terminal after a 3 minute wait? Or just replace it while the car is off?

If in doubt download the Honda Factory Service Manual (FSM).

and if you're having trouble finding info on Aussie boards try searching for Acrua TSX in the U.S forums i.e. http://www.acura-cl.com/forums/showp...67&postcount=3

The factory service manual is different to the workshop manual? That rapidshare link is broken but thanks anyway. I've already tried some US sites.
