Average Speed Cameras

On the way to Queensland i noticed a few average speed cameras? Whats the go with this, I heard it only fines vehicles over 4.5tonne. Anyone been fined by these cameras?

yes they are the one from one camera to the other, they range for about 20kms each between the cameras.

In Melb they do cars too on the Eastlink. Just don't trust it. Don't speed bro.

i dont speed, i try not too but doing the syd to bris and back is so hard to keep to the speed limit. Atleast my paranoia is kind of put to rest!

The only point to point camera in Victoria bro are the ones on the Hume Hwy which nab cars and trucks.
Every other camera is still a set speed camera otherwise.
I think the ones on the Hume are still switched off aswell? This though im not a 100% sure of.
