Yeah, judging by the specs (60x2) or whatever.. it does seem like it's bridged :/

Bridged or not Bridged it would be wise to use the Splitter as your intensions were.

my old setup on my old GTR32 was:

AMp:
2 x SOUNDSTREAM Tarantula XXX-10000D 10000W mono block

Sub:
2 x Earthquake HoleeS-15 15' 15000w Sub / 7,500 Watts RMS - custom boot box.

Incar:
PPI 4x400 4ch amp to run - 6.5inch MD Quarts front & Rockford Fosgate 6x9 Rears.

too old for too much bass now ...lol ..

im just happy with some high fidelity sounds ... a pleasure for the ears.

you will still need to hook up both L/R RCA's to be in bridge mode. or else only half of the signal/ output voltage power will be experienced. - I.E 5V preout will be half to 2.5V.

I would like to know how its halving the voltage?
The Hu in question only has 1 output so If it were say 5v output for example, splittling it only give you 5v on each split, doesnt double the voltage, weather the amp is recieving one 5v line or a split its still recieveing the same voltage.
