    B18c problem please help !

Hey, i have a weird problem with my car and was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it?

I have a b18c Honda integra, when i drive sometimes and rev up to like about 4000 - 6000 rpm, the car just stops running (feels like the engine cuts out) and then goes back to normal. Also the engine light turns off and on.

    Any solutions?

apart from identifying the CEL codes,

    most likely the possibilities are:

    1) Faulty/Dirty TPS/MAP sensor - CEL 7 or 3
    2) Knock Sensor above safe levels - CEL 23
    3) Cars A/F ratio is too rich or lean - hence making the engine knock sensor engage. - CEL 14 or 9 or 8 or 1/2.
    4) Intermittent fuel pump fault. - CEL 43
    4) Faulty/Dirty Fuel Injectors. - CEL 16

    good luck bud.

As above, check CEL code then get back to us.

I'm unable to scan it cause the scan tool wouldn't scan hondata. I'll found out that it only cuts out when I rev to 6000 rpm and lately I can smell a lot of fuel =\ any suggestion what it possibly be

    i reckon dirty injectors..

put some injector cleaner and see if it does anything... if that helps, keep using injector cleaning as specified or take injectors out and get in cleaned.

you do know that you can just plug a laptop into your s300 (assuming it is an s300) and the smanager program will decode the CEL's for you and tell you what is tripping the light?

just another reason why s300's are so handy.

what hondata unit are you running.

the S100 and S200 will cut out at 4000 rpm if the ECU cant communicate to the S100 or S200.

also check your Hondata Settings as ECT protection could be enabled. This will turn on the engine lamp if the engine gets to hot.

Any idea how I could check that ? I had a look around and found that the wires on the o2 sensor came off so I put it back it. Now it doesn't cut out but it still running lean and and idling at about 1200rpm =\

you may need to take it to your tuner to have the tune re-assessed.
