How much for / to forum section

    Hi all,

There seems to be a lot of questions going around asking how much for certain goods / services.

Hence we are trialling a forum for How much for / to ? threads. The trial will last for 3 months when we will re-evaulate whether to keep it or not.

If you post a question in here don't always expect a reply as you're expected to do some research of your own.

    Comments welcome.

    trial is warranted.

no one will be able to tell if it's going to work. I suspect not.

but for now, we have somewhere to dump the rubbish questions.

How much to install coilovers? I would suggest 3 hours labour plus wheel alignment - labour rates vary greatly though

the creation of this section still won't stop the questions being asked in the wrong forum.
Just means we have somewhere to direct them.

We should try educate new members, they must post in the correct sections.

I still think there needs to be a feature for people with under 20 posts, that when they try to start a new thread, it redirects to a page that says "I see you're new here. Have you tried searching? How about the FAQ section? If you want to know a cost, check out the how much for/where to forum"

It would stop all these pointless, annoying, reposted questions.

Good to see this is going ahead. People just need to be a little helpful and this could work out very well.

You cannot sticky prices unfortunately because they fluctuate a lot. If only life were that simple!

Well it's 3 months now and just wondering what the feedback is. I see a few threads in there with responses.
