Considering the age of your car (being Ek its at least 11 years old) there is a good chance that your standard shocks are dead or not helping things much at all.

Everyone will tell you to get coilovers, they aren't necessary, a good spring and shock combo is a great option

With coils I suggest going even slower unless you wanna compress your spine lol. It's a way of life, just get used to driving slow/going diagonal and ignoring the annoyed drivers around you.

My GF takes speed humps at 50kmph in her '08 corolla and it actually scares the sH!t outta me lol. In fact it feels smoother in her car at 50 than 30 or so. Just fly right over...

That would depend on how the bump is. I sh*t you not where I work they have them about twice as high as the are wide.....more like gutters or skate ramps. So unfortunately I can't park in the secure parking as my exhaust apparently damaged it (so my boss says).

trust me you dont wanna fly with coils on.

I once hit a speed bump at arnd 30kms an hour whilst delivering a meal for my mums restaurant.
i have bc coils and no shit they through me. im sure its not as bad as it felt but the meal in the seat next to me went air born and i had to push it back down to the seat with one hand and hold the wheel with the other.

im usually quite wary of these things, but the bump was at the bottom of a hill, and completely randomly placed, plus the warning signs were bent back around the poles and the white paint had already been scraped off by the sucker before me. luckily i noticed it at the last second and smashed the breaks then let go real quick to give me some spring travel.

no damage or anything but quite exciting/scary
