The ESP Trac' Bar uses one bolt to mount the Joint, and the second Bolt mounts a brace which is also attached with the first bolt.
So it sorta acts to mount the Joint from top and bottom.. Seems like a decent solution in my books.
I don't know if the other brands do this.
UPDATE!:
So its been a few years since i had this installed
I have since removed this off my car, after i discovered the twisting of the traction bar has cracked my tow hook mounts
This is after around 2+ Years of being installed and used on the weekends.
If i was to buy the ebay special again i would first get the tow hook locations welded/braced up more, i will let the repair job speak for itself as to what the level of damage was done
This is with the ebay special traction bar, see where i have sprayed paint over the weld (left hand side)
This is where i needed to weld around due to the stress/damage from the traction bar being mounted on the tow hooks (and it being on a 25yr+ old car)
i have now installed a Innovative Reversion 2 Traction bar for a EF CRX But it mounted up perfectly fine to my ED9 CRX
