    RE: 2008 Accord Luxury V6

    Hi All,

    Considering the option between an Accord Luxury V6 (2008) or an Accord Euro Luxury (2008 - 2009).
    Within both series have there been any significant changes / updates through the model cycle, or is purely cosemtic such as revised headlights etc?

    Biggest thing though, I need to accomodate 3 baby seats in the back of either.
    Any experiences out there with 3 baby seats?

    I have 2 compaq deluxe and 1 Hi Liner.

    From what I can see there has been no notabe changes except for the inclusion of the A Pillar mounted Bluetooth in 2010?

    Happy to discuss...

    Ok so I went down to my friendly Honda Dealer today and took some measurements.
    I get around 1380mm, which is more than I need.
    The Passat is 1333mm and 3 baby seats fit in it!

    From what I can see it looks like to following has changed over the model cycle;
    - Revised front and rear bars and grille
    - A Pillar mounted Blue Tooth
    - Front and Rear Park Sensors now standard

    All else appears to be the same.

    Can anyone confirm if a 2008 model has the following items in the centre armrest;
    - Power Outlet 12v / USB / AUX

    And also does a 2008 model have mp3 compatible 6 disc stacker???

    Many Thanks.

    I have the 08..it does have the 12 V power outlet and AUX in the centre armrest compartment as well as mp3 compatible 6 disc stacker. There's no usb port though. Honda did sell an ipod kit for it though when it came out. Also added in 11' were chrome strips under the rear reflector bars (almost universally agreed to be more ugly than 08-10 version). I think the fuel econ is now rated at 9.9L/100 combined rather than 10L for the 08. Probably just using Hondas new oil. All those pillar blue tooth and parking sensors were always available for the 08, just as options. It wouldnt be too hard to find a lux used car with them fitted. Hope this helps.

    Thanks Rudy!

    Yeah I have seen a few 08 models with sensors and bluetooth.
    Great to here that the audio is mp3!!!

    Out of interest how is the functionality of the Sat Nav in the Accord.
    I have it in my Passat also, however all touch screen.
    What is like to turn knobs and press buttons to get the navigation workin?
    Is it user friendly?

    Looks like the Accord is now getting toward the top of my list...

    No problem. I don't have the sat nav version, as mine is non luxury v6 so I can't really comment on that , sorry.
