WILL THIS WORK

i am getting my engine put in soon, but it is an auto and i amkeeping it manual, i have a few questions.

1 can i keep the b16a ecu and use it, im guessing not as it is auto.
2 i was thinking then can i use the b18a ecu ive got, but also put in a chip that i has vtec, to change it ti thinking it has vtec.

help would be great right about now, the engine is goin in at the start of next year, and i need to know if this will work or if i need to buy a chip to convert the auto ecu to manual or buy a manual ecu.
