Are dc2 and type r dc 2 shift link same thing?
They're interchangeable but they're not exactly the same. I believe thickness is the same but DC2 VTIR has counterweights on the end to reduce vibrations, Type-R doesn't And Type-R has chrome shifter

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to dorikin again.
JDM DC2R shift linkage is slightly thicker....and also gold in colour. Local DC2R is black. DC2 vtir is thinner and black here is a picture to compare http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images...195101723.jpg/

And that photo is comparing EK4 shift linkage (top) to the gold DC2R linkage. EK4 have thinner linkage and you can tell the bends are different for EK chassis I posted a similar thread earlier. http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...linkages/page2
jdm ek9 and dc2r use the same gold linkages and are identical
